Update

There are several items of interest.

Several of us recently went to and returned from both the Chipps dance in Wambli and the Crow Dog dance in Paradise.

At the Chipps, we were able to see many old and new friends, and Jo and others presented to Grandma a basket with thousands of prayer ties. I hope to post the full story with photos soon, as soon as Stuart tells me how.  [Stuart note: Pictures may be viewed at http://gracesanctuary.com/PhotoGallery.html ]

Also, speaking of Grandma, the Victoria Chipps Scholarship Fund is up and running. Grace Sanctuary is the grateful manager of a mutual fund dedicated to this effort. We have purchased about $4500 in shares thanks to several generous donations. The scholarship will support books for a single mom attending Sinte Gleska University. I hope to give you more information about the scholarship recipient in the next few days. You can also make a contribution by going to Grace Sanctuary Projects and following the links.

At Paradise, our camp presented Chief Crow Dog with a banner conceived and made by Jo and others. A link to the banner is at the bottom of the gracesanctuary.com page. The banner was displayed close to the entrance of Paradise. Many thanks to all of you who made this possible.

The Propane for Elders fund is also up and running. We have had two contributions so far. Perhaps some of you who have been supporting this project for some time can write in to describe it in detail for the rest of us. You can also make a contribution by going to  Grace Sanctuary Projects and following the links.

There are several other projects in the works, with details to follow.

The fall ceremony schedule should be posted soon.

Welcome

I am very happy to welcome you to GraceSanctuary.com

In particular, i want to bring several items to your attention.

We have started the Grace Sanctuary Victoria Chipps scholarship fund.
Please check the site for details.

We are also bring more structure to the Propane for Elders Program.
See the site for details.

You may also notice that we are developing a micro-loan program. This
is in development and you can forward your suggestions to my
attention.

The site may serve as an entry way for folks. I am a believer in
attraction, and people have to know we are here.

We we are all engaged in service
work in our individual lives, and we all do service work in relation
to our ceremonial life. I hope to see our service as Ceremony People to others
continue to grow.

We present challenges in an age where the form
of communication is different than ever before and our community is
spread over multiple states and several continents. Perhaps as we explore how we connect and communicate we will all learn and grow.

The site is a work in progress. We will likely make changes as we go
along the way. If you have any ideas please let me know.

I intend for the Pilamaye site to become a place where those in our
comunity can show others what they are making, art they are arting,
and so on. More details will follow.

A special thanks to Stuart for his work on this project and to Bear
for loaning him to me.

Mike
